Basic Information
The Ijirat was once a human (a Inuit) that got lost on the vast snowy realm. After wandering along and not finding it’s way home it started to forget it’s life. The spirits that roam the snowy realm teaches them to shape-shift into a raven and/or a bear and/or a wolf. The problem is that the change has made their eyes red and it will never change not even in other forms.
The Ijirat hungers for memories as it lost its own, he finds weary travelers to get their memories. Once in a while it goes into cities or towns to get memories. The problem is it gets the memories and it is never enough because it starts to forget them.
When a Ijirat takes your memories you can get them back if you kill them fast enough, which could be years or even decades. After that the memories have been forgotten.
